He and You
By Alicia Bonus
Degraded me with doubt, and enhanced me with hope.
Suffocated me to death, and filled me to life.
Penetrated me with sorrow, and relieved me with joy.
Touched me through pain, and caressed me through pleasure.
Dragged me to Hell, and lifted me to Heaven.
Possessed me with demons, and saved me with angels.
Forced me to bleed, and persuaded me to heal.
Ached my heart, and healed my love.
Frightened me with fear, and comforted me with bravery.
Called me hideous, and announced me beautiful.
Showered me in rain, and dried me in sun.
Shaded me with darkness, and shined me with light.
Cut me to pieces, and kissed me to bliss.
Bruised me in marks, and embraced me in colors.
Kicked me down low, and raised me up high.
Pushed me in pits, and held me in paradise.
About the Author
Hi my name is Alicia Bonus. I am a senior at California University as a Creative Writing Major. My long term goals is to be awarded my Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing and to receive a descent desk job where there will be a lot of paperwork to organize and file. And, even though I am quiet and conservative, I have so much to say, even if it is written on paper and signed with a pen.
