Blind
By Fabian Bagdes
Fell awake into the night
Then lit a fire to see the sunlight.
Looked around it was not there
I can only paint in shades of air
I cannot, but hear the sea
And only taste the fruit of trees
I cannot miss or even cry
For I was born without the luxury of eyes.
Then lit a fire to see the sunlight.
Looked around it was not there
I can only paint in shades of air
I cannot, but hear the sea
And only taste the fruit of trees
I cannot miss or even cry
For I was born without the luxury of eyes.
